The US Government granted Victorio Menghi an "Extraordinary Ability" visa in 2015 due to his amazing talent as an artist and his remarkable career.
The Argentine Foreign Affairs and Culture Ministry recognizes Menghi's Music of high interest and great importance to the national culture considering his prestigious career, and for this reason, sponsored his International "Tango Fusion Tour", in 2011.
Victorio Menghi is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer born in Argentina.
He holds three musical degrees: Electroacoustic Composition, Tango Guitar and Music Instruction.
At the age of 17 Victorio went on his first European Tour as a soloist interpreter and leader of the Balmoral College Choir. In the following year, in 1994 he began his professional career in the music field, receiving several awards with his firsts songs.
In 2007 and 2008, he developed an original musical fusion, called Tango Fussion, and his CD’s counted with lots of renowned guests. His music was edited by BMV and distributed worldwide by the leading label EMI [SONY Music].
Sponsored by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture, and supported by EMI, he took a substancial participation in the World March for Peace and Non- Violence in 2009 and 2010 and from there on his music and his name reached many cities around the globe. His song "Se Alzan las Voces" (Voices for Peace), co-produced by Warner Chappell, has been performed by many artists.
Since then, he has achieved remarkable acclaim and international awards, specially in the United States, that highlight his outstanding trajectory.
He has performed in concert to enthusiastic audiences throughout his homeland of Argentina, across Europe, and also North and South America. He participated in seminars and events as keynote speaker, as well.
In 2015 he became the “Music Director” of League City Performing Arts (Music and Dance Institute in League City , Texas, US); and in 2018 the CEO of the company. At the same time, Mr. Menghi has been in charge of the Guitar Lessons Program at Music and Arts - the largest retail chain of band and orchestra instruments in the US (Alvin, Texas, US), where he provided several Masterclasses.
In 2016, the US government granted him an Extraordinary Ability visa as an Artist and Music Teacher. One year later, he received one of his most important recognitions since he started his musical career, the “MOLA AWARDS” in the three categories: Composer, Singer and Guitarist (Beyonce was a former participant of the M.A).
